  • Built Apple Reminders import for Inbox using the native EventKit API.
  • Introduced pre-mortems to the mobile team and ran its weekly sync and sprint planning.

  • Wrote the front end code and the Craft CMS templates.
  • Integrated the course search, which was a third-party tool, into the site.
  • Large, bold images that reveal as you scroll, using parallax scrolling.

The Deep

Bluestorm, 2016 · Engineer

I built a new website for The Deep, the aquarium in Hull, while at Bluestorm.

  • Also built an interactive app for the touchscreens in the attraction, with a page for each creature: its details, habitat, conservation and a fact file.
  • One feature is a spinning 3D world that uses coordinates to show where each animal lives.
  • Still running on the screens when I visited in 2026, nearly ten years on.
